FRUIT ATTRACTION has launched the International Hosted Buyers’ Programme for the upcoming edition
A new feature of the event will be the “Guest Import Country” initiative, with the spotlight falling on China and Brazil.
Around 1,000 importers, distributors and international operators from 85 countries will be invited to the Fruit and Vegetable Industry"s biggest festival.
Fruit Attraction, the International Trade Show for the Fruit and Vegetable Industry, has launched its International Hosted Buyers’ Programme. This initiative invites national production companies participating in the trade show to earmark foreign buyers to receive invitations to the show with a view to boosting their businesses.
As well as this programme, there will be a new feature, the “Guest Import Company”. This year the chosen countries are China and Brazil, and 50 buyers from each country will be invited to attend. By offering this programme, Fruit Attraction, in collaboration with ICEX, intends to promote trade relations among the countries of the European Union and these two markets, supported by a full schedule of round-tables, guided tours of Fruit Attraction, and B2B sessions.
Fruit Attraction, organised by FEPEX and IFEMA, will take place from 18 to 20 October, and will be attended by 1,000 buyers from all over the world. Participants in the event are mainly trade professionals from the global purchasing and distribution chain with high decision-making capacity, and authorisation to negotiate. This initiative is an efficient tool that enables companies to get the most from their time at the trade fair and which is greatly appreciated by trade professionals.
To give the organisers time to process these invitations, exhibitors must submit their suggestions before 31 July. After this deadline, there is no guarantee that they will be included in the Programme. Invitations are confidential, personalised and extended in the name of the exhibiting company. Once accepted, FRUIT ATTRACTION takes care of visitors’ travel and accommodation arrangements. Guests have access to the VIP work zone, a fully-equipped area for processing all types of business transactions.
At the last edition, more than 700 professionals from purchasing and distribution chains in 80 countries took part, with high decision-making powers in their companies and authorisation to negotiate at the Show.
